With rehearsals now underway, we are enjoying the company of a great cast and crew. With a good spread of new and experienced talent, rehearsals are going well and lots of fun and laughter can be heard from the hall twice a week!

Introducing Kate:
Kate first joined Croydon Parish Players in 2010 when she starred as a towns-girl in The Music Man. Since joining the group she has found Croydon Parish Players very warm and welcoming and loves the opportunity rehearsals provide for her to escape from her regular routine.

In our current production of The Sound of Music Kate is playing the role of a young Postulant who is studying to be a Nun at Nonnberg Abbey. She says it’s “Fun being a nun” as she feels part of a team and very well supported by the rest of the “superfluity” (collective term for nun’s!).

Kate is currently studying Year 11 and has her sights set on a career in the Arts.

We look forward to seeing her on the stage come October.

No, no, no a 'nun' was not what Kate likened herself to on Tuesday night - more like a DEMENTER from Harry Potter!! (Maybe when Vilma takes in a few seams here and there the black garment will look more like a nuns habit)!
