When asked what her favourite role was in all the shows she'd been in, Anne found it hard to decide, but came up with a top three. These were: Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Mae Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie, and Widow Corney in Oliver. She especially loved Oliver because the whole family was involved and she was on stage with her boys.
So what drew her to audition for Hotel Sorrento? When asked Anne said "I saw the film 'Hotel Sorrento' a long time ago and really liked it at the time and thought it would be a great one for CPP to do. I really liked the characters and character development in it and was drawn to them, so I was quite excited when I heard CPP was going to do it."
Anne plays the role of Hilary, but said that when she first saw the film, she really liked Pippa's character, but now several years later, states that Hilary is definitely her favourite.
As for what her has been her favourite part of the season thus far Anne said that she has loved watching her son, Jesse, become Troy. She went on to say "I would have loved to be able to do what he is doing when I was sixteen in as far as portraying a character. I (as a non-biased mother of course) think he's doing an amazing job. It's so special to be able to share it with him."
Now for the curly question - If Hilary could meet any celebrity on the beach - who would she choose? Anne's answer? "Hilary would love to meet Johnny Depp (I guess he's more of a movie star than a celebrity) who would then whisk her away to his island paradise (taking Troy too of course) and she wouldn't have to work again. He might even buy her a new iron - or even better, hire a maid to do the ironing for her! Her days would be spent sitting on her private jetty reading whatever she felt like reading and her sisters would be so envious!"
